Road routes to Ray Pic
The Ray-Pic natural site, a cascade of basalt organs between the Ardèche plateau and the Bourge river valley, is accessible mainly by road. Here are a few suggestions for getting there.
Routes from the Rhône valley
Via Aubenas or Privas, here are the routes to the Ray-Pic waterfall from theA7 motorway, Route Nationale 7 (N7) or Route Départementale 86 (D86).
From the A7 via Aubenas (Ardèche sud)
- Exit Montélimar sud n°18 towards Viviers, Aubenas, Vals-les-Bains (N102) and the Col de Mézilhac (D578 ), then Lachamp-Raphaël (D122) and towards Burzet (D215) :
From the A7 via Privas (central Ardèche)
- A7 motorway exit at Loriol (no. 16) via Privas (D104), the Col de Mézilhac and Lachamp-Raphaël (D122), then towards Burzet (D215):
From the D86 and N7
The routes to the Ray-Pic waterfall without the motorway are the same as above:
- From the south on the D86, follow the route from Viviers
- From the north on the D86, follow the route from Le Pouzin
- From the north on the Route Nationale 7, follow the route from Loriol-sur-Drôme.

- From Langogne and Lac de Naussac (N88) via Lac d’Issarlès and Lachamp-Rapahël on the N102/D16/D122 then towards Burzet (D215):
