A Sunday at the beach, the bus to the banks of the Ardèche

Throughout the summer, from 6 July to 31 August, the Communauté de communes du Rhône aux Gorges de l’Ardèche (DRAGA) is offering a summer bus service to take you to the beach on the banks of the river.

By bus from Montélimar to Saint-Martin-d’Ardèche

This summer, the beaches of the River Ardèche are yours by bus! Every Sunday and public holiday from 6 July to 31 August 2025, a summer shuttle bus will take you from Montélimar in the Drôme to the beach at Saint-Martin d’Ardèche.

With two return trips a day, this Sunday service, known as “Sunday at the beach”, meets a growing need for shared, environmentally-friendly mobility during the summer. It enables residents of Montélimar, Le Teil, Viviers, Saint-Montan, Bourg-Saint-Andéol, Saint-Just-d’Ardèche and the surrounding area to reach the beach at Saint-Martin-d’Ardèche easily, without having to use a car.

Accessible to all, this service encourages independence for young people, families, the elderly and tourists passing through, who can enjoy the beach without any logistical constraints. The coach journey also becomes a convivial moment, ideal for socialising and relaxing even before arriving at your destination.

By facilitating access to the beach and the villages it passes through, the shuttle will boost local tourism. It promotes the region’s assets and encourages people to discover the Southern Ardèche, while supporting local shops and service providers.

This summer bus is an initiative of the Communauté de communes du Rhône aux Gorges de l’Ardèche (DRAGA) in partnership with the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
